The Oasis Tasting Room continues "Art in The Vineyard" through November.
Valerie Garvey is an Artist member of the Blue Ridge Arts Council and has a passion for photography and watercolors. Her lifetime love of photography was used to capture her journey into the wine country of the Hume area. Each road brings you to a new encounter with local Virginia flora and fauna, the ebb and flow of colors, and the slowing of time to blend with the seasons. Her exhibit is a recreation of her journey into a slower pace of life tuned in with the unfolding of seasons and creatures left to their wild habitat.
The area of Hume, Virginia, has inspired Valerie to capture the feeling of nature and the wonderful experience of the wildlife, roads, and beauty of the countryside through her photography and watercolors. Come join her and enjoy the experience of one of Virginia's oldest wineries. The wonderful taste of great wine, natural beauty of the habitat and pictures - allow you to capture Virginia's finest experiences for an enjoyable afternoon of aesthetic pleasures.
